Cherelle "Tigger" Bertch
Camp Director and Registrar
Tigger has been the Camp Director since 2016. She is responsible for keeping camp going by making sure all the stuff behind the scenes happen.

Tammie "Bubbles" Thompson
Camp Co-Director and Program Director
Bubbles has been volunteering at camp since 2013. She helps create a cohesive program that follows the yearly theme.

Kristin "Po" Freer
PA Director and Camp Nurse
Po has been Volunteering at camp since 2017. She has been the camp nurse, a unit leader and currently our PA Director. She has been amazing helping our older scouts become strong leaders.

Jill "Hummingbird" Peery
Scout Skills Director
Hummingbird has been volunteering at camp since 2016. She loves helping scouts learn valuable scouting skills like fire building and cooking, knots, and knife safety. Every year she helps our campers on the progression of scout skills while adding in a new skill every year. Her mother was camp director for Girl Scouts.

Priority Registration
February 14, 2025 - June 27, 2025
Register your camper for Renton Hills Day Camp during this time period to avoid registration late fees. Registering during this window holds your camper’s spot and guarantees a camp T-shirt.

Late Registration
June 28, 2025
Registrations collected during this time period will incur a $25 late fee, provided there is still room at camp. Late registration does not guarantee a camp shirt.

This year, we will offer a new leader orientation meeting, which will be held online via Zoom (or another video conferencing service). Watch here for more details.

Camp Setup and All-Camp Volunteer Meeting

The best week of Girl Scout Day Camp in Western Washington! Camp hours are 8:30 AM until 3:45 PM daily.
We Provide
Snacks
Our camp is a food-allergy safe space. We provide morning and afternoon snacks. If you have questions about our snacks, our camp cooks are happy to help!
Supplies
All supplies for arts, crafts, and scout skills are provided.
A Safe Space
Renton Hills Day Camp is a place for kids to explore, learn, and have fun in a safe environment staffed by registered Girl Scout Volunteers..
What to Bring
Clothing and Masks
Dress for the weather, bring a light jacket and hat. Wear closed-toe shoes and socks. Apply sunscreen and/or bug spray each day before coming to camp. Masks (and backup masks) are optional.
Food and Drink
Bring a peanut-free sack lunch and a water bottle each day. We will have coolers on-site to store lunches that need to be refrigerated. No mess kits required.
Accessories
A bag or backpack to carry your supplies in is recommended. Weatherproof cushions (sit-upons) are great for keeping your backside dry!
Campers in 4th grade and above should also bring a personal pocket knife.
Be sure to label all items!

All campers at Renton Hills Day Camp must be registered with Girl Scouts of Western Washington
