Our last regular day of classes!
Dragon Eggs
At our craft shelter, the Care of Magical Creatures class had each camper made their own dragon egg. Only time will tell if they will hatch or not!
Spilling the Tea
At Divination class, the campers learned the art of tasseography, which includes the study and identification of symbols, as well as the interpretation of messages in the shapes of tea leaves left in the bottom of a cup of tea after you've finished drinking it. Our campers all had fun trying to find shapes and looking up their meaning.
Scout Skills
The campers practiced knife safety and pocket knife stills in our Scout Skills class. Our younger students made paper pocket knives to help them practice, while our older campers used the pocket knives they had brought with them to camp.
Defense Against Balloon Arts
There were several more bullseyes at Defense Against the Dark Arts today. Balloons were added to the archery targets for extra fun on our last day.
Mountain Pies
The Yellow Yetis cooked dessert mountain pies at Campfire Cooking.
The Three Broomsticks
At long last, we had the all-time favorite camp lunch: Mac and cheese with hotdogs and broccoli.
Dragon Egg Relay
To end the day, we finished our Giants, Wizards, and Elves tournament where the Light Blue Leprechauns won. We also had a Dragon Egg relay game, which the Pink Pixies won.
PA Dinner & Campfire
Camp lasted a little longer today for our amazing PAs, who stayed late for dinner and a campfire, enjoying camp activities without their normal responsibilities.
