Olympic Games Day 2
Dark Purple Group
Today the scouts learned about scientific games at the Games Station. First they worked on making a paper airplane that can soar the farthest, then they made a “Flink”. A Flink is an object that does not sink or float.

Their time on the archery range had them perfecting their skills, and aiming for the bullseye.
It was Knot day at our Scout Skills station. Our younger campers worked on basic knots like the square knot, while the other girls practiced harder knots like the Bowlilne, just to name a few.

Instead of river walking today the campers went to the fire building station. They learned the diffrence between an A-frame , log cabin and tee-pee style fire.
Each unit got to make thier unit flag at the craft station today, as well as some “watercolor? paintings used with markers, water and some plastic.

All the campers got to vote on next years theme and the winning theme is Candyland/Camp Candy. We are already thinking up with some fun ideas for that!

Our camp day ended during the hottest part of the day, so we moved our all camp game to the back field that is shaded and played a slower paced game called Eclectic Tag.
